Entries in Dazed & Confused (9)
This is why I love Dazed so much. A load of young creative geniuses. Not sure if I mentioned it already, but I will be going to the UK next winter for a month. If I'm lucky I'll go for London Fashion week. My main focus is to obviously network as much as I can, but to work on getting an internship at different magazine companies..Like Dazed or AnOther Man. I think this will be a serious chance to really start my career as being a full-time stylist.
Karen Langley is the Fashion Editor for Dazed & Confused Magazine and Contributing Fashion Editor for Another Magazine. Karen's relationship with Dazed & Confused Magazine was first forged at the tender age of 19 when Simon Robins invited her to intern in the fashion department under Katie Grand's reign. After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2003 Karen has worked as first assistant to the subsequent fashion directors Katy England and Cathy Edwards.
I was going to do a post one Anna when I did the on Nicola, but I wanted to do more research on her who she is and her work. She is another Member of the Dazed & Confused elite team. Anna Trevelyan is an amazing twisted stylist who also is Nicola Formichetti's assistant. She loves socks, shoes, hairdye and boys and hates ice-cream. From what I've witnessed her approach in style and technique is she is a HUGE risk taker and. Never afraid to push the envelop which is nothing normal to the crew over at Dazed. There is still a lot more that I want to learn about Anna. Seeing that now my dream is to someday work for Dazed & Confused, I need to make sure I learn and consume all information about their Creative directing staff and of course the magazine, if I plan on interning or becoming a member of the team.
