First I'd like to thank my good friend Tia for putting me onto Rumi Neelys blog "Thefashiontoast" first time I went to her page I literally went through ever page and was mesmerized by each. Her sense of style is truly remarkable. very versatile and can pretty much wear anything and make it look hot. Rumi has ridiculously effortless style that mixes beachy grunge and a hint of Parisian flair. She has a very strong fetish for ankle boots and has caught the attention of well known people in the fashion industry such as Alexander Wang and Emanuel Ungaro. What I love the most is she is also an up and coming stylist. It's something she's always wanted to do and it shows. I'd love to see a full portfolio from Rumi. Pretty sure the turn out would be amazing. Now I know I'm not the first to do a write up on Rumi Neely, but I hope I have brought some insight on who Rumi is for the people who don't know of her. With the success of her blog Rumi has gotten a lot of opportunities to do some great things like designing a few pieces for RVCA, signing with NEXT modeling agency, modeling and styling a spring style guide for Revolve Clothing and being featured in magazines around the world. Vogue UK, Vogue Girl Korea and Elle Norway just to name a few. It's crazy what a blog and individual style can bring you. I've said it before and I'll say it again...Ladies take pointers!!
